Dr. jorge Benozzi

He was born in San Pedro, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.

He graduated as a physician from the University of Buenos Aires and obtained his specialization in Ophthalmology and a PhD in Medicine from the same university.

His first mentor, Professor Gustavo Piantoni at Durand Hospital, helped him secure a scholarship in 1978 at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Ghent, Belgium, to work and continue his training with Professors Jules François and Virgilio Victoria Troncoso. From that moment, he became a disciple in ophthalmology and research, with a critical perspective on medical practice in general and ophthalmology in particular, publishing numerous articles in medical research.
